the traveling designer
over the 5 or so years that i have been designing, there has always been one image in my mind that i have kept coming back to. it's an image that i think many young designers have also envisioned and have thought about time and time again. that idea that if this design thing really works out, you'll never be bound by time or location ever again. you'll be able to travel, see the world, and work from a different place every month if you so wish
this dream shared by me and many other designers is something that i think more people need to realize isn't so far out of reach. what used to be impossible 20-30 years ago is now more than just a possibility. it's a real outcome that many designers are actually taking.
for me, i know that it's possible, and i'm building my client base and portfolio every day towards that goal. i want to put myself in a position everyday where i can improve and become one small step closer to the grand goal of "freedom" or being a "digital nomad"
